Marketing Executive

Reporting to - Head of Marketing

General Purpose

The primary focus of Zenergi’s marketing team is to provide brand-compliant and consistent messaging and content that supports new sales business activity, building on the reputation and brand credibility of Zenergi and to raise the profile of the business and generate new customer enquiries.

The Marketing Executive role suits someone who loves organising and has a flair for influencing through words with a creative mind that can positively reflect the brand image across all channels

Key Deliverables

• Campaign creation and execution
• Creation and delivery of content and resources, including brochures and collateral; web copy; webinars; videos; podcasts; guidance; articles; advertisements and advertorials;
• Conference and events co-ordination
• Key partner relations
• Lead generation
• Industry & business award entries
• Competitor research
• Brand ownership
• Supporting the sales team KPI growth targets
• Marketing training & guidance to support other projects
• Social media content
• Report on marketing activity


• Ensure that all communications with customers and service providers are delivered in the ‘Zen Way’
• Carry out data analysis and problem solving to continuously evolve and improve processes and activities
• Provide back up for colleagues when required (absences, annual holiday etc.)
• Work as part of a team as well as independently to complete tasks

Requirements - Experience

Experience (preferred not required)

An understanding of both the Gas & Electricity utility supply industries and the key verticals Zenergi operates in (education; healthcare; housing; Local Authority) would be an advantage but is not essential as your training will help develop an understanding of the Industry and Zenergi’s role.

• Job Type: Full-time
• Location: Office based (Southampton, Essex, Chorley or Gloucester)
• Working hours 8.30am – 5.30pm, with flexible working hours available after the 6-month probationary period
